Deborah Hamilton is the Law Librarian for Pikes Peak Library District. She has held this position since October of 2014. Prior to working for PPLD, Ms. Hamilton was the Learning Technologies Librarian for Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary where she helped to establish an online learning program. Ms. Hamilton has also held positions working with archival collections at the Briscoe Center for American History, the University of Washington, and the Seattle Public Library. She earned her Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington in 2011. Ms. Hamilton also holds a Master’s of Education from Antioch University Seattle (2006) and a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Maryland College Park (2004). In 2021, Ms. Hamilton published Helping Library Users with Legal Questions: Practical Advice for Research, Programming, and Outreach.
