About me
David Shaw is the Victim Advocacy Unit Supervisor for the Colorado Springs Police Department Victim Advocacy Unit (CSPD VAU). He has worked with CSPD VAU since 2013, and prior to being unit supervisor he was the VAU Volunteer Coordinator, a staff Victim Advocate, and a volunteer Victim Advocate. As CSPD VAU Supervisor, he oversees the unit’s response to crimes of domestic violence. He has an MA in International Human Rights from the University of Denver and a BA in Modern Languages (Spanish) and History from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
